I’ve finally done the mod, I’m now on the latest firmware, and all seems to be working fine. It is great to see the OSSC getting this kind of support at this stage. And I would like to thank everyone involved, thank you.

Hi all, I have OSSC 1.6 (Mcbazel version), sorry if already asked but, is it possible to do the hardware mod to install latest firmware? Also, I’ve looked to the upgrade instructions and photos, and it looks that the wire that connects to the chip leg actually is the leg that connects to ground? And if so… Wouldn’t be easier to solder on another location on the board? Thanks.
