Haven’t checked with the multimeter yet but using a passive hdmi switcher, as reported by blitter, does something to the signal and the initial test pattern shows up, as expected. This makes two of us
Tested on two TV sets and got the same result
A friend of mine has a multi meter so hopefully we’ll manage to get some answers
I’ll report back once we are done. Thank you
What kind of hdmi switch are you using, I may give that a go since I’m having exactly the same issue on my Panasonic Viera.
Tried 5 different hdmi cables and all hdmi ports… test pattern never shows up
(Ossc works fine on an hp pc monitor)
Thanks
Hi Marqs, I haven’t tried 0.75, I went from 0.73 to 0.76 and yes it does work great on my pc monitor
It used to work on the HDTV as well with 0.73 but I’n not getting any signal now with 0.76.
Therefore I was wondering if any default value changed btw the 2 versions
My tv is not supporting the ossc signal since I’ve updated to 0.76. Any default setting that has changed from 0.73 I should be aware of?
It used to work just fine in line2x
Thank you
Fabio
I’ve managed to do some more testing and I think the unit is totally fine and I just happen to have some kind of interference in my game room.
In fact if I take the ossc into another room the remote works just fine.
I’m glad I’ve figured this out and hopefully this will be helpful in case someone else will run into the same issue
Just tried another OSSC remote and it’s behaving the same way. It only works if I keep it really close
if it is the ir sensor what shall I do in order to fix it?
cheers
Fabio
I do have a friend here with an OSSC so I will try his remote as well and report back
this is how close it needs to be
