      What are the firmware revision of your OSSC and your settings? It can helps to determine if it’s a software or a hardware issue.

        Probably lack of filtering on the output of our modern switching power supplies, and/or too poorly factory made. Original SEGA PSU were linear ones, much less enegy efficient.

          @nexus45 As a bonus, your 3085 cable with R19 removed is now compatible with japanese Megadrive 1 (All model 1 in theory) ^^


          @paulb_nl           Nice! I didn’t knew that there is an option in the OSSC menu for this purpose.

            If it’s a french Master System, with the french official 3085 cable (it came with all french SMS, 1, 2, and Megadrive One), unsolder one pin of R19 inside the 3085.

              You can also thinking about RGB mod of the console if it doesn’t have RGB out :3

                Hello,

                I suggest you to lift Input from U5. If the short has gone, then replace U5 ^^

                I remember that there was changes in the VGA pinout within years, one pin especially but I can’t remember witch on. Maybe the graphics card hasn’t the right pinout, causing the issue.

                  Hello, Mouser ships from USA, this is why, from France, I can’t buy any battery from them (Lithium and chemical products forbidden in planes).
