As an aside, my TV can cope with Passthru and Line2x but cannot read anything else, detecting no input. Is there any workaround for this?
I’ll have a look at this and report back, thanks a lot!
Thanks – I updated firmware to v1.12 and it has sorted the timing issue. However, I’ve reinstated the settings described in the original post and I feel that the picture has become slightly worse. There’s been a clear improvement in lighting at night, but draw distances and contrast seem to have suffered. I’ve turned the samplerate up to 236 degs to compensate.
Hi Bucko,
Thanks so much for the quick reply. Just tested it – the green LED on the front of the OSSC stays solidly green throughout.
The white LCD screen however, flickers away to something else briefly. In normal mode it shows:
AV2_YPbPr 625-i
15.62kHz 49.99Hz
but during the blackout the ‘625’ flicked over to ‘312’ or a similar number. It definitely started with a 3.
