Success! I would really never have found that going even further left there was a hidden super high res 2560x240p what the pvm can handle! and the Extra AV out mode->RGBCS/RGBS was also well hidden. I have now a stable image and it´s working good in 720p source to get a 240p and 480i image on the PVM. thanks for the quick input.
thanks for the input. When I start the osPro I first arrive on 480p test pattern. Only option left is 480i (720x480i 59,94hz), next left is 1920×540 60. In 480p test pattern mode the menu is only visible in half that´s doesn´t make it easier to see but if i go into scaler options, I can change the output type on CRT, do you mean this with “Make sure your OSSC Pro is set to composite sync output”? Can´t find anything else. Output mode top menu is on 240p (60-120hz) but the test pattern keep not having 288 and 240p.
I have the same issue as Lamprey, I just powered the OSSC Pro for the first time and I can´t find a 240p test pattern, the smallest resolution is 480i and my sony PVM gets the image but it is moving fast, not in sync. A firmware update to 0.78 didn´t bring the 240p test pattern, any idea what to try next?
edit: i am connecting the ossc pro via the external adapter with VGA output, to a VGA to SCART RGB Cable to a sony pvm 2730wm. Connecting the ossc pro via vga adapter to a normal vga to CRT Monitor gives a stable image at 480p, so I think the pvm only takes 240p and surprisingly no 480i what i cannot imagine.
