      Good morning, and sorry for reopening this thread. I recently purchased a Copperdragon S-Video Bypass/RF Replacement board, which I installed on a C64 250466 longboard. This board originally had a VIC-II 6569R5 chip, which I replaced with a Kawari. I see the AV signal in color, but it’s a bit saturated; however, the S-Video signal is in black and white.

      According to the installation manual, the S-Video bypass board has a jumper called JPLUM1. If my board is a longboard with a VIC-II NMOS chip, it should be closed. I haven’t closed it because I’m not sure if the original VIC-II 6569R5 was an NMOS chip (what is a NMOS chip?), and as I mentioned, I replaced it with a Kawari.
      Should I close JPLUM1, or leave it open? If I close it, should that solve the problem of the black and white S-Video signal?
