There appears to be some semi-common issue that leads to this given the reports from a number of people with the same symptoms. I’ve not yet had the time to replace U6 and U7 to see if that’s the problem.
I tested the voltages on the regulators I mentioned and they seemed correct but their heat is unnerving. Can someone check theirs to see if U6 and U7 get really hot (and their input and output voltages if possible)?
