Ok, I found that if I use line x5 at 1900×1200 I get no tearing, If I use line x5 at 1920 x1080 I do. Line x2 and x3 do also. For now I am going to use x5 1920×1200. The only issues I have with that setting is that my tv won’t let me adjust the picture to fit so I end up with an inch or so of unused space above and below the picture. And the other issue is that the sound cuts out but I noticed by restarting the ossc the sound seems to work fine. The only tv I tested this on was the Q9FN.

Good idea, I will try that next, probably tomorrow though. ok, so I just did my test and with the ossc going into the hdmi to component converter i get tearing. With just the consoles hooked to the shinybow then to the component connection of the tv I got none, zi played a few worlds of mario 1 and through the first palace of zelda 2. I used the same games for both tests. I’m afraid i hit a setting that i shouldn’t have, I can’t be sure but i really don’t think it was doing this before.I can try to capture an image of it if it will help.

I see that is unfortunate lol. It is definitely one of those things that once notice drives you crazy. I think you are probably right though. I do have one last test I can do to put your theory to test. I can run my Nes/Snes through the ossc and into my hdmi to component converter box and then try outputting from the system to my shinybow scart to component converter and see if it gets tearing in both of those or only one of those situations. I will report back, and thank you.

I got it working, It was because I was using a micro sd to USB adapter. I found my old SATA SD hub and hooked it up and worked right away.

Ok, I will have to buy one. Is there a specific bbrand/model/size I should get? The one I’m currently using is a 32 gb samsung pro. Thanks.
