No battery no problem! – If you are a collector of CPS-2 arcade boards then you are probably very familiar with the copy protection Capcom used on this particular hardware. The so called “Suicide” battery was designed to wipe the boards decryption keys if tampered with, rendering the game unplayable.

Unfortunately, these batteries are now failing by simply running out of charge, leaving lots of these games unplayable even on their original, Capcom produced boards. However there’s now an easy to install solution that will protect your CPS-2 B-boards forever, enter InfiniKey.

Buy purchasing this modification and sending us your complete CPS-2 kit (we will need both A and B boards), we will professionally install and test the InfiniKey. This will allow the use of original game code without risk of battery failure or damage. InfiniKey injects the appropriate decryption key at power on, just like an original CPS-2 board. Use of decrypted ROMS is not necessary.
