SCART Test Board

Take the guesswork out of connecting retro consoles, superguns and other hardware to your valuable upscalers or vintage CRT monitors with the Retro Sampling SCART tester board.

This handy device fits between your games console or your SCART output source and your display or upscaler. Once in place, the test board gives you an easy way to test your SCART cable with your scope or multi-meter while it is in-circuit. No more opening up your SCART cables, no more awkward fumbling at the back of the TV.

Using the SCART tester you can verify the correct voltage and resistance on the sync and RGB lines, check for the presence of blanking voltage or simply make sure your cable is correctly grounded.
