I recently got an Avermedia Live Gamer 4K to try and get 5x megadrive captures but have been pretty disappointed with the results. Setting the OSSC to 5x mode seems to crop out the overscan border around games. The main issue though is that is loses signal during scene transitions in games which is very frustrating. I guess this could be the megadrive switching resolutions and causing an issue?
Has anyone else had these issues or know a way to fix it? I have previously been using an Elgato Camlink in 4X mode with no issues.
