@paulb_nl: I have now made a Github pull request for a more advanced OSSC settings export feature, where the SD card is formatted as a FAT16 filesystem, with the binary dump in the root directory. The resulting binary settings file seems to import properly when dragged to your OSSC Profiles page. Also, the settings file will not contain a zeroed-out sector at the beginning, rather than it immediately begins with the USRDATA header.
If you are interested in trying it out, please see OSSC PR #75.

December 3, 2020 at 9:26 AM #43353So I’m trying to get profiles on my OSSC but without success…
I use a MacBook Pro from 2018 with the newest Etcher version and could get the v.088 update on the SDCard and updated successfully my OSSC.
But when I compile my profiles.bin with the web app and try to load it onto the SDCard via Etcher I always get errors from Etcher…
Here my compiled .json file:
ossc_profiles_0.88.jsonDecember 4, 2020 at 5:28 PM #43392If you were able to write the OSSC firmware with Etcher then it should also work with the profiles. Although I have never used Etcher the contents of the file should not matter at all.
It appears version v1.5.112 of Etcher was released today which might fix it. Otherwise try an older version.
June 20, 2024 at 8:39 PM #62008Hi Paul, can you update your awesome OSSC Profile Web with the latest OSSC FW V1.10?
Until v1.09 works like a charm, but the latest FW version doesn’t work and the OSSC refuse to import the settings.
Cheers!!
June 21, 2024 at 12:46 PM #62033I have updated the Profile editor to v1.10 but I did not try to import a profile on the OSSC.
Please try it and report back.

June 24, 2024 at 12:59 PM #62061It is just Javascript so you should be able to run it locally although you might have some issues with downloading the profiles.bin file.
Here are the sources:

After seeing a video about modding the ossc and then being able to output 1440P i modded my ossc and updated to fw 1.11 .I thought i could use the profiles off fw 1.10 but that doesn´t work.
Could you please update the app so it can work with fw 1.11?Cheers
July 19, 2024 at 10:14 AM #62518I updated the app to 1.11, here’s the js file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LJtMq_z2DgahKGfVmVMFYunCKIxD3GX9/view?usp=sharing
Tested and working with my ossc
(Thanks for your work @paulb_nl!)
July 19, 2024 at 3:34 PM #62520Thanks @FallingLuma, I used your 1.11 file to update the app.
July 19, 2024 at 5:01 PM #62522Big Thanks guys, works like a charm again 😉
July 29, 2024 at 2:52 PM #62664Hi guys, would anyone have a good profile list for 1.11? or a convert of firebrand’s stuff to 1.11 via the app? Trying to get my profiles back up and running again after the 1.xx update 😀
March 10, 2025 at 9:06 AM #65299I’m going to throw my hat in the ring and ask for an OSSC Pro equivalent.
I’ve wasted countless hours on this web app on my OSSC, and having now upgraded to the Pro model, this web app is sorely the most missing “feature” between the two. 😅
March 19, 2025 at 10:10 AM #65359Primary drivers for the original web app were inconvenience of some adjustments (e.g. timings) on OSSC UI, inability to easily import/export profiles and compatibility across different FW versions. All of these have been improved on Pro so I’m not sure if a new web app would be very helpful in the end.
