That is a great suggestion, would be a very welcome addition.
Alright, got ya! Hopefully an easier way to save and transfer settings across firmware updates can be implemented with the OSSC Pro.
I appreciate the assistance!
I can?
I’m not sure if I follow, but I have indeed not updated my OSSC from 0.85 yet, and the settings are stored on the OSSC.
How can I export the profiles from my OSSC unto a .json file?Seems I must have messed up and overwritten my .json file with an empty profile. Thanks for confirming, that’s a huge bummer.
But at least it’s not the profile page 🙂
Here is my .json file: https://gofile.io/d/jBsX1W
It has been working perfectly up until I tried it now, though I haven’t used the profile page since v085.
I don’t get an error message. It just gives me the “import done!” message, but none of the settings show up.
Thanks for the help.
Is the profile page broken?
I’ve been trying to convert my .json from version v085 to the newly released v088, but profiles won’t load when drag-dropping the .json and clicking import.
Anyone else with a solution?

Not trying to be difficult, but I don’t understand your first post then. It seems to partly contradict the last post.
Do you think you can lay it out more clearly?
Will we able to migrate and keep our settings across firmware updates soon?
Good question, wondering the same myself.
Thanks for the input, it seems you must be right.
But Trixster couldn’t have been flashing back and forth on the same firmware, that would make no sense.
He was most likely flashing from 0.83 to 0.84 (beta version), which would be two different firmware revisions. At least, that’s how I’m interpreting his post.
So, something doesn’t add up here. If he kept his profiles between those different revisions, this thread is still hanging in the balance.I do believe you’re correct nmalinoski, I just want it to be definitive. If not, the thread is useless and confusing for posterity and future visitors.
Could someone clear this up? Looks like we have two opposing answers.
