      I really want to get myself a PS-IO, but whenever orders open it’s normally in the middle of the night and by the time i get up and check they are closed again. How are you finding it, is it worth getting one?

        I had a similar issue with my JAP RGB modded console. For me changing the scart cable to a sync on luma cable fixed the problem you can these cables from retrogamingcables.co.uk. With this cable i didn’t need to adjust any sync settings and i get a perfect picture and colours through the OSSC

          I don’t have an adapter to connect to AV3, if you can point me in the right direct i’ll get one to do some testing with.

          I was thinking about this a little bit last night. I’m no expert at these things but the Neo Geo CD has a dedicated S-Video connection, do you think the fact that this connection is seperate could in some way have an effect on the sync strength of the AV port and if so could a crazy combo cable be used plugged into both the s-video and AV out ports on the Neo Geo CD wired to use the S-video as Sync? I think this would be a little bit like luma sync wouldn’t it? Obviously it’d be no good for other AES/MVS but it might be a fix for CD’s.

              Yeah it just says NO SYNC, my AES works perfectly using the same cable so it cant be specific to all Neo Geo hardware.

                I’e been having an email convo with Bucko and he asked me to post about my Megadrive setup in this thread. So i have a PAL Megadrive 1, Mega CD 1 and 32x Tower of Power! All 3 were modified with a switchless mod at the same time by videogameperfection (Ray). I tend to keep it all configured as NTSC US. I don’t recall where i bought the Megadrive to 32x stereo patch lead and 32x RGB scart cable. I normally buy all my cables from retro gaming cables but in this instance i didn’t and i can’t remember why, maybe he didn’t have any in stock. Any way if i change my Video LPF setting to 2.5mhz (High) i get a really good strong stable picture. So far I’ve only played 30 mins on Streets or Rage 2 and 20 – 30 mins on Mortal Kombat 2 (32x) but i don’t seem to get any artifacts or flicker at all. Not sure if this info is useful to anyone, or if anyone wants anymore info about my setup just let me know.
