Console used: Sega Mega Drive 1
      Paired with OSSC

      TV: Loewe Planus PL530 30″
Notes: This TV does not support HDMI inputs, only component or VGA. Using an HDMI to VGA/Component Converter did not work at all.
Reasons: Component Inputs do not support progressive scanning.
VGA is a direct 480p Signal ONLY needing 15Khz RGBs
      Solution would be a SCART-VGA Upscaler/Transcoder that outputs 480p @ 15Khz

Try changing the Sync Menu options on the OSSC. Un-modded Consoles that output RGB like Mega Drive might benefit might need to be set to a specific LPF rate (Low Pass Filter.)

Press menu on the OSSC Remote, press Up to Scroll the different Menus until you find Sync Opt. Press OK, then press Up or Down until you hit ‘LPF.’ Should be at 10 by default. Try all the different settings to see if it improves.

Transcoder must be the only way for this CRT.

I’ve tried the VGA but I get no signal. The TV wants 480p, and I set it to Passthru on the OSSC but still no signal. The aspect ration isn’t changeable on the TV’s VGA, but I should still get some sorta signal.

Weird thing is the Inputs on the TV don’t strictly say ‘VGA.’ Just 3 options: VCR (composite), DVD (Component or I’m guessing VGA) and TV/Antenna
