Does anyone here tested a Dell Ultrasharp U2410?
I always use DVI mode on my HP 1600×1200 LCD monitor, which only has DVI inputs, or else I don’t get any video at all out of the OSSC.
I use HDMI mode on my Asus VG248QE 1920×1080 144Hz TN monitor. Line5x doesn’t work on either of those two LCDs.I have set the correct Line5x formats, 1600×1200 for the HP and 1920×1080 for the Asus, and saved it to my settings for each monitor.
My only display that works with Line5x is my 19 inch Daewoo LuComs C925DBK VGA CRT monitor.Has anyone tested Line5x with PS1 games, on a PS2, and Saturn on an HP Z24N 1920×1200 IPS monitor?
I tried tweaking the sampling settings, as shown on this thread, but I was unable to get Line5x to work on my HP LP2065 1600×1200 S-IPS LCD monitor. What about the Dell Ultrasharp 2001FP and 2007FP? Do they work with Line5x?
I also prefer having at least two digital video inputs on an LCD monitor, so I can use it with both my gaming PC and my OSSC.
2560×1440 LCDs are fine too, as long as they’re compatible with Line5x and support 1:1 pixel mapping.
That one is 1920×1080 though. I want all 1200 lines.
Do you know of any other 1200p LCD monitors confirmed to work with Line5x?
I just had a derp moment.
I realized I didn’t switch the OSSC from HDMI mode to DVI mode.
After switching to DVI mode my LP2065 will display my Saturn without any issues up to 4x.
At 5x it still displays it, but my monitor shows an OSD message saying that it’s out of range, even though it’s not.I tested both my HP LP2065 (1600×1200) and Asus VG248QE (1920×1080).
The console I connected was a Dreamcast via the Retro-bit VGA box.
The LP2065, which I connected to via an HDMI to DVI cable, shows a black screen no matter what I do.
The VG248QE, which I connected to via a regular HDMI cable, works in both passthrough and Line2x, but doesn’t display in 4:3 and is stretched from 960p to 1080pI know the problem with the LP2065 isn’t the HDMI to DVI cable, because it works with my computer’s HDMI output and my VG248QE’s DVI input. For some reason, the LP2065 doesn’t like the OSSC 1.6. I wonder if the old DVI version would work.
The LP2065 has two DVI-I ports, and is able to display my Dreamcast when connected directly to the VGA box via a VGA to DVI-A adapter.
