It has been doing the THS7353 init fail Error code: 1 now a lot when turning off while no signal. Also it gets stuck on it, so when replugged it shows the THS error again, requires multiple repluggings to make the error disappear. Today got this and it froze like this until power was replugged, I guess this unit needs to be replaced. Other than that it works just fine.
Just tested with 0.90a and the video mode synced just fine, it was green on RGBS and RGsB but on YPbPr it was correct.
Here is what happens on 1.10a: https://youtu.be/_L_CW_VGblo
Same test on 0.90a: https://youtu.be/pryGcxCL8n0
On friend’s dvd player it does that switching but a lot faster only on a certain anime dvd, but not with the other dvds.
I will test 0.90 fw tomorrow when I get home from military, to see if it’s just the 1.xx making the issue happen. I don’t use my PS2 that often for DVD playback anyways because I have PS3 and PS4.
I tried a DVD player which was working fine with everything else but one DVD which would make the same issue as on PS2 DVDPAL mode, after selecting language and watching through the copyright screen. And in the past with my scart cable and OSSC I could just switch the mode to RGsB and it fixed the screen being green (iirc). I’m just wondering why DVDPAL isn’t working anymore
Yes, playing DVDs on PS2, it seems to be a different video mode compared to bios’ video mode. PS2 testmode has resolution switching and every resolution other than DVDPAL is working

It was obvious that PAL and NTSC has different colors but NTSC-M and NTSC-J has difference in colors too. Otherwise the timings are the same on both NTSC modes.
480i and 480p uses same H. Samplerate but needs different phase (tested this with force 480p bios and the same scart cable)

I created a UnleashX skin that draws vertical lines and used that to get H. samplerate close to correct, later calculated correct, and then used the skin to set the sampling phase closer to optimal.
What mode are you using on the 240p/288p PC? Set that LineX mode to 320×240 optim, since Rayman 1 is 320×240.
With Line5x mode, I use Line5x format on 1600×1200 for a 4:3 aspect ratio.
If you are still having issues, you could try lowering LineX if you still encounter issues with my timings. My timings for 320×240 (NTSC PS1) on PS2:
H. samplerate: 428.75
H. synclen: 31
H. backporch: 49
H. active: 320
V. synclen: 3
V. backporch: 10
V. active: 240
Sampling phase: 292degSeems like I was doing something wrong the last time I checked my NTSC timings, thanks.
Capture card: Elgato HD60 Pro
Working just fine with my OSSC on firmware 0.89.
Consoles (Resolutions): through RGB Scart cable.
OG Xbox: 480i, 576i (Line4x), 480p (Line2x)
PS2: 240p, 288p, 480i, 480p, 576i, 576p, 720p, 1080i (VGA resolutions with weird HZ too) (Line5x, Line4x)
PS3: 576i, 720p, 1080i, 1080p (if 576p was a thing it worked)
