This is correct. A VGA cable will always remain on the OSSC input. I have put a jamma edge extender that outputs directly to scart with the advantage to also be able adjust RGB levels. So is os easy for me to swap between main scart cable and scart to VGA adapter.
Using VGA you will discover that many boards won’t display. Most boards output through scart only.
Send a message to retrogaming cables. They may can help you.
Here (Page 2) there is instruction how to make a passive scart to VGA adapter. It is very easy. If you can’t built it yourself then give the instruction to an expert.

That would work even though I do have 12 A boards as well for every B board and you know sometimes they don’t break out easily. Anyway I could have the digital system to one A board for a game of preference and with the option for the other games too. I find it quite interesting now.

I think this suits best with Darksoft CPS2. If I understant well I would need 12 digital pcbs modded on my 12 CPS2 boards?

I can’t capture directly from OSSC I am afraid.
Shortly I will have live comparison between OSSC and the Framemeister using Extron’s HDMI capabilities. Something no one has done on YouTube since today. At least me can’t find a picture comparison playing the same game.
