This is correct. A VGA cable will always remain on the OSSC input. I have put a jamma edge extender that outputs directly to scart with the advantage to also be able adjust RGB levels. So is os easy for me to swap between main scart cable and scart to VGA adapter.

Here is a video of mine showing F3 working with the passive adapter on a Sigma super gun.
How can I upload photos on the site?
If there is no way I will upload a video on youtube demonstrating all green godnessI use 2. I think 5 is all green picture anyway.
ThanksOSSC unit is 1.6
Probably a bad component input?June 19, 2018 at 5:37 PM in reply to: Street Fighter III 3rd Strike Switch vs arcade original #22213That would work even though I do have 12 A boards as well for every B board and you know sometimes they don’t break out easily. Anyway I could have the digital system to one A board for a game of preference and with the option for the other games too. I find it quite interesting now.
Thanks for explaining meJune 19, 2018 at 5:10 PM in reply to: Street Fighter III 3rd Strike Switch vs arcade original #22210I think this suits best with Darksoft CPS2. If I understant well I would need 12 digital pcbs modded on my 12 CPS2 boards?
Is there a link to take a look?
I have bought a PACKAPUNCH RGB with clear sync cable from Retro gaming cables and image looks stunning. It looks with deeper colours than the component actually.
You can see the quality here:
Great video!
You remember well. OSSC display says 54.88Hz.
No issue though@No stutter, butter smooth. I will take a look and come back about 56khz.
True, it’s better live. It could look better though if I had the lights on. My mistake.
I can’t capture directly from OSSC I am afraid.
Shortly I will have live comparison between OSSC and the Framemeister using Extron’s HDMI capabilities. Something no one has done on YouTube since today. At least me can’t find a picture comparison playing the same game. -
