3DO RGB Upgrade Kit

This is it! The ultimate 3DO RGB and 240p mod kit. These new kits from Black Dog Technology solve all the problems of our older boards and introduce a whole host of new features too.

Using a custom flex cable, this mod fits more neatly and securely in your classic console, eliminating the multiple wires of the older version. What’s more, you can now get perfect 240p output from your console consistently. No more flicking the 240p switch back and forth, with this kit your 3DO will always switch to 240p mode correctly, giving a sharp image. Want to leave your console in 240p mode all the time? No problem, unlike our previous mod you can now start the console in 240p mode too!

Issues with picture shift/centering have also been addressed, for a guaranteed perfect image every time.

While some community based support may be available in our forum, we cannot offer refunds for mods damaged due to incorrect installation, nor can we offer technical support for installation of this mod.

Please note that the late Panasonic FZ-10 and Goldstar GDO-202 model 3DO consoles contain the revised ANVIL video chip which does not output 24bit digital RGB and cannot be modded for analogue RGBS at this time. The only way to know for sure if your console has this particular chip is to open it and check.
