To use this remote on the Morph 4K
Using this remote on the Morph 4K is easy but requires just a few steps to setup.
1) Download this zip fie and save it to a convenient location on your computer or device and unzip the contents. The zip file should contain just one file called “ir-ini-vgp.ini”.
2) Access the web interface to your Morph 4K scaler over your local network, usually you do this by visiting http://morph4k.local/ Your Morph must be setup to use WiFi for this to work, if it is not, see this guide.
3) From the Morph 4K web interface, click on “Customize”. You should now see a section called “Custom IR Remote (ir.ini)”.
4) Under “Custom IR Remote (ir.ini)” click on “Upload”. A window will appear, click on “Browse…” Locate the file you downloaded in step one, click on “Open” and then “Upload”. Wait for the upload to complete (should only take a few seconds).
5) Press the DVB button on the top of the remote itself. You should now be able to control your Morph 4K using this replacement remote. If you are using an OSSC in your setup as well, for example as an analogue bridge for the Morph, press the “TV” button to switch the remote back to controlling the OSSC and the DVB button whenever you want to control the Morph.
