Have the capacitors in your Sega Mega-CD/Sega CD console (model 1 or 2) renewed/replaced with high quality replacements. A capacitor is an electrical component that stores electrical energy. In older machines, these components can wear out and sometimes leak, in some instances leaking corrosive fluids onto the consoles motherboard. If you see signs of capacitors bulging or starting to leak on your consoles motherboard, we recommend getting them replaced as soon as possible.
Note that replacing capacitors is time consuming and is not guaranteed to improve or fix any issues you are having with your console. We recommend purchasing this service only if you believe the capacitors on your console are starting to degrade. If you decide to replace the capacitors in your console, please understand we cannot give refunds after the service is carried out, even if replacing the capacitors does not have the desired effect.
