When ordering this mod, please include your RGB SCART cable with your console as it may need to be modified. If you don’t have a suitable cable, ask us about making you one.

Purchase this service and send us your Megadrive/Genesis console and we will install the latest and greatest RGB bypass for the Sega Megadrive/Genesis console. Created by Lord Voultar himself and sold by us with his permission, this mod provides a 100% complete solution to the Sega Megadrive/Genesis jail-bar problem! This amazing little upgrade board squeezes the very best video quality out of your Sega Megadrive/Genesis console. Jailbars are eliminated (very minor traces may remain on some consoles when subjected to intense scrutiny) and sharpness is improved, going beyond what can be achieved using clean sync RGB cables or by lifting pins on the VDP. This upgrade delivers the absolute pinnacle of picture quality on original hardware, a must-buy for Sega Megadrive/Genesis fans!

We recommend always sending us your existing Megadrive/Genesis RGB cable as it may need to be modified for best results. Also note that composite video is disabled when using this modification and yes, for the one person at the back asking, that does mean the waterfalls in Sonic and other fake transparencies may not look like they did on your old CRT.
