When ordering this mod, please include your RGB SCART cable with your console as it may need to be modified. If you don’t have a suitable cable, ask us about making you one.

This amazing little upgrade board squeezes the very best video quality out of your Sega Megadrive/Genesis console. Jailbars are eliminated (very minor traces may remain on some consoles when subjected to intense scrutiny) and sharpness is improved, going beyond what can be achieved using clean sync RGB cables or by lifting pins on the VDP. We recommend always sending us your existing Megadrive/Genesis RGB cable as it may need to be modified for best results. Also note that composite video is disabled when using this modification and yes, for the one person at the back asking, that does mean the waterfalls in Sonic and other fake transparencies may not look like they did on your old CRT.
