Thanks Bucko. Does VGA also work?
Getting this thread back on topic, any suggested settings I can try Bucko or if indeed Hydro Thunder is alternating lines of output are we out of luck?
@BuckoA51 The only change in the LCD is the sync light changing back and forth from red to green. It has been reported that the VGA compatible re-release of this game constantly changes from 523 to 524 lines of output which is obviously wrong. Framemeister handles it no issue though
Oh no problem at all. Thanks for trying 🙂
480p SCART works perfectly fine via Toro box. Only Hydro Thunder has issues
SCART
Thanks yeah. I figure there are probably OSSC settings to fix it but I don’t know them all well enough to figure it out.
As noted in my original post, my version is VGA compatible and works fine with the Framemeister. Only OSSC has issues
Are scanlines enabled in passthrough if set to manual?
Thanks Matt. Let me play around with my TV settings re: 1600×1200
Tested that and it made no difference. Also tested a different PS2 and different RGB cables. No difference. They all show terrible color banding as if the color depth is too low
Happens on any 5x mode
Update: the issue seems to only present when using line5x. If I drop down to 4x it’s ok. My other systems don’t have this issue with 5x. Any idea why the CDZ does?
59.59Hz. I’m connecting to a Samsung KU6290 4k set
