CPS3 Digital AV Interface DIY Kit

Finally a full digital upgrade kit that’s specially made for CPS3 owners! These kits contain the same hardware as the CPS2 digital upgrade, but also a complete quick solder fitting kit from LoveGood.dev. Of course, the supplied CPS2 digital board has been flashed with the CPS3 specific firmware, so you’re all ready to go.

Each kit contains:-

• 1 x CPS2/CPS3 digital upgrade board
• 1 x LoveGood CPS3 QSB (quick solder board) and kit
• 2 x Female 10 pin headers (2 rows of 5 – male headers are already pre-soldered on the QSB kit)

The quick solder kit Includes 2 PCB’s, a ribbon cable, coax cables, wire and resistors. In other words, everything you need for a CPS3 digital installation. If you just need the quick solder kit and already have the CPS2 digital upgrade board, click here.

The base kit contains a flex cable that is 5cm in length, which is suitable for standard installations. If you are doing a custom installation for a specific cabinet or case, you can change to a longer flex cable of either 10cm or 20cm by using the drop down menu above.

All our boards come pre-flashed with the latest CPS3 firmware which includes a full on-screen display/menu. This menu allows you to set resolution, scanlines and other options quickly and easily. The menu is shown below:-

To access the menu, simply install the button kit provided, then hold down the first button for two seconds. You can then navigate the menu using the first button to move between options and the second button to select or change them.

Fitting Instructions

Please note that installing this modification requires soldering skills. Do NOT order this kit until you have read ALL of the fitting instructions and feel confident with carrying out the installation. Some community based support may be available in our forums but we CANNOT offer technical support with DIY fittings nor can we give refunds on components that have been damaged or destroyed due to incorrect use or failed installation attempts.
