While the clock capacitor present in most Xbox consoles always fails, all too often the rest of the capacitors on the motherboard will fail too. If the caps on your Xbox system have started to bulge or even leak, it’s time to get them replaced before they cause irreparable damage to your classic console.

Order this service and ship us your Xbox console and we will replace all the capacitors on the main board. We will use a high quality capacitor replacement kit using only branded capacitors which will give your console many more years of life.

Optionally you can also have the consoles heat sinks removed and fresh thermal paste applied. Microsoft’s factories did not use high quality thermal paste when assembling the Xbox, so replacing it can help the console run cooler. However, you should NOT choose this option in conjunction with the XboxHD+ Xbox Original Digital Video Installation Service. Since the consoles heat sinks need to be removed in order to fit the HDMI uprgade anyway, applying new thermal compound is included in the price of the HDMI upgrade.
