This little PCB upgrades your SD2SNES cartridge to the latest revision. If you have an older revision of the cartridge you may have noticed the audio in MSU-1 games is rather quiet. By installing this PCB you can upgrade your SD2SNES to the latest version, revision H, which fixes this problem.
Additionally, if you have a revision E board or earlier, you can order and fit the revision E upgrade. This consists of two small components a 100uF capacitor and a 10uH inductor. Fitting these will prevent picture noise problems on 1-chip consoles.
To find out what revision of SD2SNES cartridge you have, carefully open the cartridge shell and look at the text above the battery. If you have a revision H or newer cartridge then you do not need this modification.
