N64 S-Video Restore Flex (Consoles4You)

The S-Video Restore Flex is a hardware upgrade that restores S-Video to PAL N64 consoles with board revision NUS-CPU-(P)-03-X. For reasons known only to them, Nintendo disabled S-Video on these particular models, but by installing this upgrade it can be restored.

Installing this upgrade is much simpler than either a RGB or HDMI upgrade and also much more affordable. S-Video output gives excellent results, particularly with CRTs or next generation upscalers. Please use a good quality N64 S-Video cable, such as the one available here.

Fitting Instructions

Installing this upgrade requires soldering skills, please study the instructions carefully and ensure you are confident enough to carry out the work yourself before ordering. Please do not purchase this part unless you are confident with a soldering iron. While community support may be available in our forum, we cannot give technical support with DIY installations, nor can we offer refunds or compensation for parts damaged due to bad/incorrect DIY installations.
