I am not sure. When I press monitor info to see the resolution of the monitor it says 1080p@60 not 3840x2160p.

Yes it fills the screen. I don’t know if its because I get 4k@30 on both hdmi inputs. I only get 4k@60 with display port. I have the ossc connected to hdmi 1. Don’t know if I have to get an hdmi to displayport adapter.

I have a 32 4k pc monitor and every time I use line2x,line3x,line4x,line5x the monitor does not upscale it to 4k. The most I get is 1080p with line5x. How are you guys getting it to upscale to 4k. In TV ossc gets upscale to 4k because the tv automatically upscale to 4k, but with pc monitor it only displays the resolution it receives.

I tested the the hybrid scanlines beta firmware and I like it very much. I would like to thank everybody that contributed in getting this to work with ossc. I wanted to know if it is possible to add a scanline thickness setting. I think that fighting games look better with thicker scanlines like: Streetfighter 2, Mortal Kombat,Art of fighting and many more. It would give a cga arcade look to it.

Hi, I have the default ossc settings I just set it to line 5x. I think you should first try to get line 5x with ossc and tv without vp50 pro. With my tv I was able to get line 5x with ossc without problem. Then if you get the ossc in line 5x with tv then try it with vp50 pro combo. From what I read if your tv does not take in line 5x with ossc alone the max you came get with ossc+vp50 pro is 3x. The only real thing that made a difference with vp50 pro was disabling cadence on vp50 pro.

What is the difference between game mode 1 and game mode 2 on vp50 pro. Do they have the same input lag or is one faster than the other?. In which cases are these game modes used the most ?.

Got line5x working on vp50 pro. It turn out that cadence is automatically turn on and that causes lin5x to display some scramble graphics on the tv. When I disable it now it displays it correctly.

Thanks for the reply. Yes groovymame emulate native refresh rates of arcade games so dvdo edge will probably have that problem like you said. I look at the link you provided according to it the latest firmware is the one I have 1.05. I thought the vp50 used the same firmware as vp50 pro but according to this vp50 is 1.09 and vp50 pro is 1.05?

But with this firmware 1.05 I can’t get line 5x work only line 3x in ossc. I use these setting ossc H.SR 2057, H.BP 255 (BuckoA51, VP50Pro) and I still cannot get it working. Ossc by itself can do line5x with my tv but when I connect it with vp50 pro it does not work. That is the reason I thought I need a firmware update for vp50 pro. BuckoA51 can you tell me the firmware you have in vp50 pro that is working with line5x.

Got myself a vp50 pro. How do I update the firmware, it came with 1.05. What was the last firmware? Do I need a cable or a cd to update it please help.

How is the DVDO Edge green with ossc?. I heard there is a bug that increase lag on some consoles. What if I connect ossc+DVDO Edge green with a pc with groovymame to send 240p games at native refresh rates; will this lag increase bug be present or it just for some consoles? Please reply. If the input lag bug is not present with groovymame+ossc+dvdo edge green, then I am open to get one.

Hi, I pre order on june 23 When can I expect ossc 1.6 to arrive?

What I mean by looking good is hiding game artifacts and jagged edges. I look around in youtube for Framemeister+ps2 3d games scanlines enable and it did hide some games artifacts and jagged edges look less noticeable. I guessing that OSSC will be similar with Scanlines enable. I look around OSSC in google and I did not find pictures or videos of OSSC with 3d games. It would surely help people who want to buy it. I found this video that shows how Framemeister+wii looks with scanlines skip to 3:53 minutes in the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4jix0d_VDU . I would hope that ps2 looks similar with OSSC+scanlines?

In regarding to ps2 emulation for it to be full speed playable it needs a much more powerful PC cpu than in dolphin emulation. That’s why I have slowdowns with it and it is much smoother with dolphin.
