Ok I just noticed that if I put a little pressure on the screen it works fine. Is this something I can fix? Is it a loose joint? Can I send it in for repair?
How hard is it to replace the display? It’s a little difficult to tell if it’s through-hole or not.
It’s out of the warranty period. I guess I will have to replace it by hand.
I decided to update this. The week point I had was the male/male cable that I connected the switch to the OSSC. I originally had a really nice German cable that was shielded like crazy. When that didn’t fit the otaku switch I changed to a cheap eBay cable. Someone made a 3d printed case that has a lower profile that exposed the plugs a lot better. Now my German cable fits and I went back to that and now the buzz is gone
That might be it. Right now I’ve got a two metre cable in there, is there a recommended one meter shielded cable? All the ones I’ve seen are either two metres or half metre cables
Ok email sent.
Yes, I bought from you. Who do I contact?

April 21, 2019 at 4:21 PM in reply to: Recommendations for tv remote to program chunghop with #25960The tv I’m working with is a Toshiba. Going to try the yamaha here as soon as I can.
Are you running this through a selector of any kind?
Not sure what I did but I reflashed .82-aud a second time and it seems to have fixed the issue.
Using same HDMI cable that worked with previous unit.
It’s still not working. I’m using .82a now
Program it with another remote.
I had to use an old sony tv remote I had laying around and I just programmed it with that, then in turn programmed the OSSC.
