no need for 60hz mod for the ps1 pal. if the game is pal (50hz) it displays in 50hz, if it is a 60hz game (ntsc) it will display 60hz
I have a 40w705c tv so very sensitive, taking only x2 maximum whatever the consoles (sms2, md1, md2, mcd2, saturn, dreamcast, ps1, ps2, xbox og, all pal)
for the ps1 I use the profiles found on the forum and it works. Are you talking about the black frame (resolution change in a game)? if that’s it that’s normal
Knockoff
you bought it on which site / seller?
November 19, 2020 at 1:02 AM in reply to: Need help please with my PS2 in 240p (PS1 game playmode) and the OSSC #42922For information, I have a PAL PS1 and Sony KDL-40w705c (x2 all consoles).
Panasonic hack = ossc no syncI have a DVDO Edge for x3 or x4 for my consoles (NTSC, PAL) but unusable (random input lag, my TV is better for upscaling…). I use it as an hdmi / yuv switch (passthrough, 6x Hdmi and 2x YUV/componente) and input sound (Tos, Cinch).

Chances are (even sure) that your adapter is not giving real rgb.
Just composite disguised as a scart.
OSSC only works with real RGB.You have to go through a hardware mod for your SMS1 so that it actually comes out of rgb.
August 31, 2020 at 7:14 PM in reply to: Issue with OSSC , Dreamcast Aspect Ratio with MClassic #41156I’m interested, the ratio does not look good with this setting (no choice). With the Firebrandx profile I have to switch to 640×480 because my TV loses sync if I put DTV.
I have a Sony KDL-40W705c TV, Dreamcast VGABox Retrobit (very very cheap, pending a KuroPlus (when I could) and a DVDO Edge.
My tv only takes the x1 for that I go through the DVDO.DVDO GameMode ON and tested with 2 scaling (720p and 1080p).

a long-term (9064 HOURS) test on the marking of the oled
https://www.rtings.com/tv/learn/real-life-oled-burn-in-testYes there are black frames with OSSC and FM but the shabby quality and input lag of the noname scaler makes playing with “this thing” a heresy.
And play 16/9 … LULnmalinoski, exact for 1080 x5 I forgot because I do not use it as it cracks the image) 😉
mathdewa, for 4/3 did you look in the settings?
Output opt.
Line2x mode Generic 4:3
Line3x mode Generic 4:3
…
these are already the default settingsAre the screens monitors (pc screen) or tv (a screen with an internal upscaler)? Which models?
Not all screens (pc or tv) take all input formats. A pc screen is more “flexible” / accepts better than a tv.
What resolutions do the screens have? Fullhd (1080), less, more ???
If the PS1 comes out of 240 (for example), then in x5 = 1200. And if your screen is 1080 it is necessarily impossible. 1200> 1080 logic.
For this image corruption it will be necessary to see with the pros of the forums;)March 8, 2020 at 6:18 PM in reply to: Is 1080p output from 530p (640×480) input possible with the OSSC? #36127To change / transform one resolution (640×480 for you) into another (in 1080 for example) you need an external upscaler.
By cons it will take up space, example a Dvdo (but it is less efficient than an actual TV but more flexible and therefore allows to “force” the resolution you want, but adds lag including the Edge which can bug easily).
Brief to see if there is a correct external solution that does not add too much lag (and it is difficult).
The MCable can be an alternative but seems to be subject to problem on the real rendering / treatment (I believe, it would be necessary to repeat the tests of Retrorgb and others).Hello,
input resolutions must be:
Line double support for 240p, 480i, 288p, 576i, 384p, 480p, 576p
Line3x / 4x / 5x support for 240p / 288pThe outputs simply calculate according to the input (example 240p x5 = 1200p)
In some cases you will need an upscaler (example Dvdo or other brand) if you want a very specific output (or that the screen for example is not compatible this will solve the problem).
Example:
384p x3 = 768p then an upscaler set to 1080p = 1080p on your screen.Note: Do not forget that a screen (pc or tv) gives a better image on the native resolution (ex a 1080p pc screen will be sharper in 1080p than in 768p)
If the help could have helped, consider buying the real ossc, an official product and not the Kaico counterfeit, on occasion;)
Hello,
it would be necessary to describe on which console (pal, ntsc, switched model, 50 or 60hz), which game (and its region), is it in “action” or during a passage in a menu or a loading screen, including does it have a single cut or several then ….?
OSSC default settings or have you changed a value?
What cable (rgb / scart, yuv /?) Between the console and the ossc …
In short without additional information as much to play the lottery;) -
