As I understand the SVS repurposes two pins on the VGA port for serial communication. These pins are used for audio on the Morph and I don’t believe they are even connected on the OSSC Pro. He designed the SVS for RetroTINK and didn’t even ask us or PixelFX. It should really be possible to use the USB with some kind of adapter cable but you might simply want to wait and see what the Infinity Switch is like (although no idea when that is actually coming out) as OSSC Pro has the USB port that should be able to communicate with this switch just fine.

You can connect up both displays but can’t use them at the same time, the OSSC will output either RGBs or Ypbpr component video, not both at the same time so you’d need to select which you wanted.
For sure a Time Sleuth can be a useful thing, though I appreciate that it is a lot to spend on a device that will spend most of its time in your drawer unused.
In my tests yes adding the VRR flag can help with framerates that deviate from the 59.94 NTSC spec, for example it allowed for smooth scrolling on a PAL Amiga forced to 60hz (which ends up at 59.2 something maybe, quite a bit out). This was on an LG C9 OLED.
I would think frame lock off 120hz wouldn’t work to your advantage if you are trying to minimize lag though I could be wrong. So much depends on your TV too. You could always purchase a Time Sleuth from us for further testing 🙂

Based on your picture I wouldn’t call that a “huge cut off” at all, that seems quite normal for a consumer CRT. Anything within the red area is considered in danger of being cropped by a CRTs overscan.
What kind of CRT are you connecting?
Does the CRT itself have picture sizing controls?
Can you post a picture of the overscan?
Does the 1080p/60 test pattern still display ok?
Sync is indeed sent to pin 20 on the SCART end, but can be taken either from composite video or cysnc output on many consoles. A sync stripper should not be needed with the OSSC though proper attenuation is required when using CSYNC.
My guess would be the VGA switch not having enough bandwidth for the composite video signal on that particular pin as it is not designed for it, but, if your cheaper adapter works that seems to put an end to that theory.
It’s unlikely but, at this point can you find a regular SCART cable and try that with your OSSC just to make sure there isn’t a fault with the SCART input?
Hmm, how are you pulling sync from the consoles, if you’re using csync have you attenuated the output correctly? Aspect ratio and AV RGB switching would be ignored by the OSSC.

So what is the entire video chain, including all cables, converters etc, from any one console to the OSSC ?
